Come to think of it, the look is actually more David Bowie/Nick Rhodes-inspired than punk, but I did not possess a clear understanding of the difference between punk and glam at that time. Given that my entire musical context was heavy doses of MTV (all glam all the time), KXLO, and anything I could record off the America’s Top 40 broadcast when I was visiting my aunt in the big city, this confusion is understandable. (Also, it’s too bad you can’t see the eye makeup, it was a work of art.)

Totally dig the 4H costume. Your punk rock outfit made me think Errol Flynn in Sherwood Forest than Sid Vicious, though!
