Will the turkey be unbroken
In case you missed it, that’s a Johnny Cash reference (didn’t they sing ‘Will the Circle Be Unbroken?’). I am dying to see that movie, please see it in the theatre twelve times so that it won’t be gone by the time I get back to the USA.
As you might have gathered, I have been without regular internet access. The situation will continue for the next couple of weeks, but never fear, I will try to post now and then, and certainly will do so more often when the DSL is finally hooked up. Until then, happy Thanksgiving! It snowed today, it was lovely, it made the part about missing our families on that big American holiday a little less depressing.

Congratulations on your new place! It looks fantastic! I hope you and Jeff had a fine thanksgiving. Here’s something you can be thankful for: you didnt spend the evening with several older, wasp-y couples disucssing topics that were all sorts of uninteresting. Not that I’m complaining…the food was great!
Thinking of you this holiday season. I probably won’t be seeing too many movies for the next few months, so I sympathize with you. Congrats on the new apartment. Will send 3 more DVDs next week! (There is even a charlie brown special there for you!).
Kathy
I have seen the movie, and it’s good. Reese’s vocal work is freak. If you’d like an early DVD copy I can email a friend in China, most American movies are available in the markets before they are released here. I’d be curious to know whether you get to see it in English with subtitles or vise-versa. If you haven’t been to a German movie theater yet be prepared for beer and cigars at every seat.
